The Cu chi tunnels were used as hiding spots during Viet Nam war by Viet Cong soldiers and were also a base of operation to transfer communications, supplies , foods and weapons for the Viet Nam army . They also used the underground to continue practising their daily life such as eating , sleeping , having a plan for their attacks , healing their sick , teaching children and even giving a birth .
DAY 01: HO CHI MINH – BA DEN MOUNTAIN – CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L)
The car picks you up at the meeting point. Start departure Tay Ninh 1 day tour. Have breakfast in the car.
To Ba Den Mountain, you go up the mountain by cable car system. Visiting the system temple pagoda
You go down the mountain by cable car (15 minutes by cable car), enjoy the panoramic view of Tay Ninh plain in the mist.
The car and guide take you to the Cao Dai Holy See
Have lunch at the restaurant and rest.
Start to travel: Go to Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh): watch documentary about guerrilla war of local people, visit War Weapons Museum and tunnels: about 200 km underground, tunnel system (mound) combat system, self-made anti-mine system and Hoang Cam stove - a cooking smoke mask used during the Vietnam War – USA (USA).
Depart for Saigon.
You return to Ho Chi Minh City, end Tay Ninh Tunnels Cu Chi 1 day tour.
